Mindy, Cass, Matt and Jake watching Old faithful erupt. Jake loved the water volcanoes. He was wondering where the fire was. We had a fun day, aside from the 42 dollar lunch of sandwiches, lol.

We went to White Sulphur for the weekend. Here is Cassidy and Matt with Grandpa Ducky. They had a ton of fun down there. We stayed at Beth's house the first night. The motels were all booked up.  

My Daddy. He got the teaching job in Wendell. The whole clan will be in Idaho soon. Dad will be a girls basketball Junior Varsity coach and assistant track coach. Gonna be cool to have my parents close by.

Guess where I took this from. Gosh it feels good not to be trucking anymore. Worked 13 hour shifts on Monday and Tuesday. 2100 - 1000. Feels good to be able to collect overtime for the first time in my life. Almost everyone I have met and worked with at UPhas been a good time. Last night the conductor babysitting me had 38 years on the job. You can sure learn alot from these old heads. I learned more in the last two nights than 3 weeks of class. I guess learn is not the proper wording, I should say that alot of what I learned in class was clarified. Getting ready to head out again at 2100. 

Mr. Wilson, Fred and Mr. Wilson's wife. Mr. Wilson is the head honcho. I have never met a manager who would shoot the breeze with so many of employees. I just hope never to see him pissed off in his office over the next few years. 

Saturday was the last day of trainmen class. We then went to the O.K. Ward Park for a Union Pacific Employee party. These are two of my instructors. Both are wonderful guys and instructors. Fred has a twisted sense of humor like myself. I made 5x7's of this picture and gave them each one before they flew out. I woke Fred up Saturday night at 10:30. He told my wife at the party. "I am so glad you married down to keep guys like Brandon off the street" One funny dude,lol. 

Here is Kennedy and Clayton. Clayton is Mindy's brothers little boy and Kennedy is Mindy's aunt Lisa's daughter. Kennedy is spending the summer in Preston babysitting for Cody and Tiffany.

The kids are playing firemen. Jake was scared of the firemen at first but two of them were checking out Mindy pretty good.  

Grandma and Poppa are here. We are walking the big park arond the corner for the Union Pacific employee party. Jakeb os holding onto Poppa's ears because he doesn't have enough hair to grab on. Mindy actually bought a new pair of pants for herself.

With all the vines, the sun hits half the pool. Ashley came and stayed the night with us. I should go get a morning picture of her, lol. Matthew and I just got done watching the Return of the King. The Batte of the Pelinor fields looks kick ass on the big screen. Today has been my 3rd day off in three weeks. Only a week of classroom training left for the railroad. 

Jakeb is getting cold, Mindy didn't get in but she wore her bathing suit. Jake didn't want to get back in with the Cass and Matt for a picture. 

We set up a swimming pool on the back patio. The kids spent a few hours playing in the water. I had to hook up the hot water from the house so Jake could get in. He didn't like the cold water. I put a foam mattress and a few old blankets under it so that it would be soft for them. Stay tuned for the goldfish VS the kids in the pool of death. I want to put one of our goldfish in there but Mindy won't let me. Now Cassidy's snake would love a little swim with the kids, lol.
