Mindy, Kenadey, Jakeb, Landon, and I went for a quick hike into Box Canyon this evening. Landon got stung in the eye by a wasp. We chased adolescent ducks down the road and spied on a critter in a hole.

We had a great outdoorsy trip last week. Hiked a few miles up to Baker lake and proceeded to set up camp. Shortly after we had the camp set up, the hail struck hard. The ground was white and we were wet. Needless to say, it was a long cold night. Tyson cooked some good gas giving grub, beenie weeny's and rice. We will be better prepared next year.

We went out rockhunting again. I lowered Jake into the pit to rescue the snake. It was barely moving cuz of the cold. We got about half way out of the canyon and the snake was getting pretty agitated. We let it go by the pond, it turned around and hissed then glided across the water. Dad said it was a racer. You can see it just the right of Jakeb, looks alot smaller than it was. The whole is about 7 feet deep and perfectly carved into the ground. Jake was happy he saved a life, cuz that snake was not getting out anytime soon.

Spent the day gathering rocks for Mom and Dad's pond. The finished product will be great. Found a new canyon to explore, forgot the camera, which means I could not find it. Jake and I found a real snakepit complete with a snake. I will have to get a picture of this, so cool so cool.

Matthew played in his first tackle football game today. In this picture, he is the center hiking the ball. He also played right tackle and linebacker on defense. I was pissed that he was not a receiver before the game but after watching our team only throw twice the whole game was glad he wasn't.

We had a fun time out at the lake. I did take off my shirt later to horify everyone with whiteness, fatness and stretch marks. I got my first stretch marks on my tummy 6 months ago. I am losing it though, had to let everyone see me at my fattest, lol. I started at 237 and am now at 227. I am giving myself 6 months to get to 170.

Hi everyone. Ingrid and I are already home, hahaha to all you still traveling out there. It took us about 7.5 hours to make it back to Clearfield. For all those who missed the excitement out at Tenderfoot on Sunday, let me fill you in. Kevin's van got stuck in gear and would not start back up because he could not shift into the park position. Mike towed it to the top of the ridge. Allen took a message to Kevin's dad too bring tools and tranny fluid. We left Kevin and Sky with the van and went back to WSS. Just for the record, I wanted to stay in place of Sky to save Kevin from a little butt chewing. Sorry Sky. I think they got back around midnight. We all had breakfast at the Cafe this morning and took off after saying our good byes. Remember the family Reunion page will be under my links or just click here.

We are going to the Hunt family reunion in White Sulphur Springs Montana this weekend. This picture was from the reunion 5 years and 40 pounds ago. I can't wait. We are heading up Thursday. Gonna pick Naloni up from the airport in Salt Lake in the morning and drop her off with Tyson. She flew out to Hawaii last week. Tryston is growing up fast, that little dude is all smiles.
